"In
the past three years Heartland has constructed hundreds of homes
that have been code approved by most states in the U.S., System
homes are built inside a factory. This has many advantages
over an
on-site "stick-built" home.
The most obvious advantage is the fact that the building materials
are not subject to adverse weather conditions such as rain and snow
and there is no construction downtime due to inclement weather.
This allows homes to be built year round. We also have a stable
work force in the manufacturing facility, which provides consistent
high quality workmanship. Eliminating the bad weather factor solves
the problems that arise from wet lumber drying and warping. The
manufacturing division also has its own quality control inspectors.
The home must pass many different inspections on a regular basis
by an independent third party agency, as well as surprise inspections
(engineers) on a periodic basis."
